How long have you been in business?

What is your primary product or service?
We started as a language training company for businesses and individuals. Then added interpreting and translating for courts, hospitals, international companies as well as private individuals.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I taught foreign languages in private and public schools and colleges, and wanted to have more control over how languages were taught. The goal was to teach the practical situations where speaking a foreign language was not only more effective but more fun. Finally decided to go into business for myself. I taught languages in high school and college and finally decided to open my own business.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are the only full-service language service provider in the Miami Valley, offering the whole range of language courses in 10 languages and English as a Second Language, as well as interpreting and translating in most languages.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location at 137 N. Main Street, Suite 206,where we have been for 20 years. No plans to move.

We are conveniently located at the corner of N. Main Street and First Street, across from the Victoria Theatre, in downtown Dayton. There are parking lots and garages nearby.
What type of payments do you accept?
cash and check. No credit cards.
Which areas do you service?
We serve the Miami Valley and beyond, even so far as Middletown.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Gail Horvath, owner, runs the business.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm or by appointment.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
When a businessman confides in us that "Your program gave me the confidence to speak the language of my customer." When a judge tells our interpreter: "You are the best interpreter we've ever had!" Or a business client says of our translations: "We know we can always depend on Germaine."
