I have 40 years of sales and retail management experience and I decided to continue working by developing my property into a wedding and corporate venue.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a truly unique venue; The Wolf Creek Retreat is surrounded by thousands of acres of farmland and forest. The historic Elm Lake has a 100 year old history as a regional swimming beach and resort - named the Honeymoon Harbor due to all the newly married couples who would rent the cabins on the property. At one time, Elm Lake was also a YMCA camp. The beauty of the 4 acre lake as a backdrop for a wedding ceremony is unsurpassed by any other venue.
