Thin Dense Chrome coating to make tooling last longer
Armoloy TDC makes tooling last longer. It increases surface hardness (to 78Rc), decreases the coefficient of friction (25-50%) and inhibits corrosion. Armoloy TDC can be applied to all metals except aluminum, titanium and magnesium. Standard deposit is 0.0001-0.0003" and the coating is applied at 135F, so there is no chance of distortion and no need for finishing or grinding after application. The coating is over 99.3% pure chrome and properly applied will not chip, crack or flake off.
